Dear fellow Skallegues, April was Skal International Month, a time to reflect upon the benefits of membership as we continue to promote tourism growth. It is a different time as the industry transitions from the COVID pandemic restrictions and there is slow but steady progress towards "normal".
This month, our Club National Representative -Trevor Clearwater and myself will represent the club as part of the Canadian group at the 2022 NASC Congress in Orlando. This is the 1st NASC Congress since it was held in Hawaii in 2019. Next year it will be held in Mexico and then Winnipeg will host the 2024 NASC Congress. As we had to cancel the 2020 congress, we will finally be able to showcase our city and key tourism attractions to the North American Representatives.
Be sure to RSVP to attend our Club's MYSTERY DINNER EVENT on Tuesday, May 24th. See full details on the club website and further in this newsletter. Skål
