Club News - April 2023!

From the President's Desk

Tammy MacIntosh

President's
Remarks

Yes,  I am back and happy to be home….to appreciate all that Winnipeg has to offer.

After experiencing so many cultures, in the last 3 months, from Hawaii to Egypt and Dubai, I am forever grateful and  appreciate all that our beautiful city has to offer.

After seeing the exceptional promotion video that will be presented in Mexico City to promote NASC 2024, our committee did an excellent job to showcase Winnipeg, and like the saying goes  “ if you build it they will come”

Our  clubs 60th Anniversary celebration March 4 was an excellent event in spite of adverse conditions in the sky.  The committee did a fantastic job in keeping with the 60’s theme.  I am sorry that I missed this event, especially since The 60’s was my favourite decade.

Club Member of distinction award was well deserved and presented to
David Chizda.👏

We also held an event for members and guests at the Fort Garry Hotel -Yuk Yuk’s Comedy club  to lighten up the mood of a long winter with lots of laughs.   It was well attended and enjoyed.

Looking forward to the snow and ice to disappear and feel that “Spring has Sprung “  as our member luncheon will be at the The Assiniboine Pavilion on Tuesday, April 25th.
