The best things we can say about 2022 is that. “ It could have been worse“. Well it’s almost over. Let’s don our surgical masks 🎭 and gloves and dig deep into the Bag of stupid and see what we can pull out. We are seriously divided on the pandemic, everyone wearing a mask dislikes those that refuse to wear one, our economy is struggling as I write this from Hawaii. 🌴🌺🥂 Political data shows a strong statistical correlation between enforcing mask mandates and not getting re-elected. Sadly our Queen Elizabeth died and after 10 months the war in Ukraine rages on and dominates the world news, and Zelinsky looks exhausted.
Then we have the Positives in the Good Bag. We still have fresh air to breathe in Canada, Canadians haven’t forgotten to say. “ Sorry “ when they bump into a wall, and “Thank You's “ and “Please “ dominate our vocabulary. The “ Leaf opened “ in Assiniboine park, and our Skål club was treated to an amazing Christmas celebration. By the time December arrived the world was abscessed with Soccer, and FIFA …hoping it will bring the world closer. So There are many reasons to feel hopeful about the Future, and it’s with much optimism we reach the end of a disturbing year, and thankfully nervously prepare for 2023. (Year of Hope!) So let’s forget about the year we just went through and let’s give your loved ones a great big HUG and enjoy the moment. Think positive, Play Fair, and remember those that are less fortunate. Happy New Year 🎉🥂
