President's
Remarks

Dear fellow  Skallegues,
April is “SKAL Month” in celebration,  International has scheduled many interesting Webinars  covering many interesting and important topics, listed in the International Newsletter.

Welcome to Rhett Perrin our newest Young Skaleague  member , he will be formally recognized at a future meeting.

The world is changing and it looks like things are gearing up for “More Normal” or “Less Awful” whichever way we look at it

The Tourism and Travel Industry covers many layers and the opportunities are opening up to re-build our careers as never before, and to explore the world 🌍

A perfect example of progress is the announcement of Canadas first Indigenous Travel Agency.  Opening up a desire for us all to learn the Indigenous culture, traditions and heritage.

Stay safe and Be vigilant of your own safety and comfort level, when you travel.
Covid is still lurking.

At the Club's March 22nd Dinner Meeting, Laurie Barkman -Past President provided an overview of her work on personal "wellness".

World Wellness Weekend is not one big event, but instead a lot of wellness events created and led by organizations across the world during the weekend of Sept 16 - 18, 2022. The events can be inside or outside; they can be related to physical health, mental health, emotional health, community health; they can be active events; they can be information sessions. The two things they all have in common is they are a minimum of one hour and are free to attendees
There are a number of ways to become involved both by your organization or personally.
